#FtheHUSTLE ~ 068 – Jumping in or Baby Steps?

FtheHustle Newsletter

I almost ran over an Iguana! ๐ŸฆŽ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

This was on my quick errand to go pay for my electricity & Internet (I can’t pay online unless I have a bank account down here and that’s a whole other conversation).

I’ve been in Costa Rica for 9 months now and these little reminders (Iguanas in the road, a herd of cows stopping traffic, or even the ocean view) help keep me grounded.

Anything you can do right now to stay grounded is worth putting some energy into.

With online business and the amount of noise information coming at us sometimes the little things get lost in the shuffle.

Recently (the last few months), I’ve decided to put more time and attention into Twitter (you’ll hear more about that as I do it).

I have a few Twitter courses (that I’ve purchased), a book, and have consumed plenty of “best practices” to know what I’m doing (and I’m not a complete ‘newbie’).

However, I’ve not done much of the above.

I’m just doing what I can when I can.

And I’m enjoying it.

I have a tendency to either jump in headfirst or baby step my way in. Getting back into Twitter has been baby steps.

Then I got this request on LinkedIn today:

How about that?

My point in sharing this is that going at your own pace and finding what works for you WORKS.

Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of things I could pick up the pace on, but doing things like this keeps it fun.

I’m being more consistent with how often I tweet, but it’s still at a pace that feels like a good flow.

Be easy about it.
