Arrived in Idaho and Content Creators Planner Discount

boise idaho

I made it to Boise, Idaho on Monday.

A lot of people asked if I was still moving with everything going on and fortunately, I was still able to move.

As of now, all interstate travel is still open.

We’ve been patiently waiting for our furniture to arrive (my son came with me, which has been a godsend. Oh to have the energy of a 19-year-old).

Let me just say that the moving company situation left a lot to be desired.

Apparently I hired a broker instead of a direct moving company (nothing like throwing money away… moving on). As of Tuesday, my stuff hadn’t been loaded on the truck yet (it was picked up last Friday).

Here’s the thing…

There’s literally nothing I can do about this right now, so I may as well make the best of it, right?

It’s supposed to be here within 4 days, so worst-case scenario I wait another 4 days (i.e., sleep on the floor another 4 days and work on my laptop on the floor or desktop on the kitchen island).

This is kind of my attitude about everything right now.

If there’s something I can do, then I do it.

If I can’t do anything about it, I’m not giving it energy.

I will say that I absolutely love the house I’m renting and have connected with a few people in Boise online. Once we’re able to I’ll be setting up some in-person coffee dates!

Much like you, I’m navigating business in uncharted waters.

A lot of people aren’t sure if they should be marketing or promoting (I had one person on our Content Creators Planner list ask me if I could hold off on emailing for a couple of weeks. Um….no.).

With every ounce of my being, I believe we need to keep going.

Keep showing up.

And yes, keep marketing and selling.

However, remember that you get to decide what that looks like.

Don’t let anyone else’s opinions or comments dictate what feels right to you.

Whether that’s giving everything away or launching a high-ticket offer… it’s your business.

This is why, for the first time ever, we’re offering 20% off of all Content Creators Planner products (planners, Masterclass, Trello boards).

We had been advised never to offer discounts and to only give away something extra.

It sounds like a solid strategy, and probably works for some people, but like many other businesses, we wanted to offer discounts during this time.

Use the coupon code CREATEINPLACE to get 20% off.

We also have a banner on the site with a coupon code reminder 😉 (we can’t be the only ones who forget the coupon code as soon as we click away from the email, can we?).

UPDATE:

So it looks like the furniture still hasn’t left California. Time to find a blow-up mattress, return the stool, and buy a chair I can work from. 🙂

The adventure continues…
